Research and practice
His doctoral research concerns liquid-metal electrochemistry and electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide into solid carbon. The work pairs electrochemical reactor design and gas–liquid hydrodynamics with materials characterisation by Raman spectroscopy, XPS, SEM–EDS and XRD.
His engineering experience covers process design, PFDs and P&IDs, hydraulic and surge studies, and HAZOP, LOPA and SIL safety reviews for water and energy systems. His consulting experience includes supporting public-private partnership, business-case and lender technical advisory engagements for infrastructure projects across the GCC.
